Cover Illustration Project: Les morts devraient rester silencieux - Dark Fantasy Novel

Here is a behind-the-scenes look at my illustration process for the cover of the dark fantasy novel Les morts devraient rester silencieux by Pauline Varel (Novembre Éditions). It was an incredible experience translating this morally grey and captivating universe into a single piece of cover art!

Concept & Layouts: I started by exploring multiple compositions, proposing several different versions to the publisher to find the most striking layout that would reflect the novel's intense narrative and secrets.
